The stasis device is small in itself, easily portable, only weighing five kilograms. Upon placement and activation, it emits an ethereal bubble, cocooning the patient. This ethereal cocoon is a substance developed by Pandora which is the real focal point of the device. When subjected to this aura, the human body remains in suspended animation. There is no aging, and there is also no decay, but no consciousness. Everything is suspended in animation.

In Wargames, the primary use for the device, the longer that an injury is left untreated, the more difficult it becomes to heal, and the higher the chances of complications. The stasis device allows the body to remain suspended until healing can be conducted, largely removing these complications.
