Name
The Rebuild Initiative | The Rebuild
Description
During the Age of War, 70% of the population was lost, and then the Age of Anarchy followed. As societies regrouped, and countries were defined and regrown, they all came together to usher in an era of rebuilding the world.
Details
The Rebuild Initiative was a term coined by Raijin during the Age of War as he strived to return Japan to its ages of glory and a defined culture. Following the Age of War, and the Age of Anarchy, the leaders of Japan picked this phrase up again, as a rebuild was needed to restore humanity to the population and infrastructure of before. And so Japan began to rebuild cities in the style of their most treasured period, the Edo era. Focus was taken away from technological development, and instead buildings were built in a traditional fashion and Japan started to look inherently Japanese once again.
With other countries also requiring a rebuild from the loss of infrastructure, they all saw Japan and took notes. Countries began to return to the ages in which they flourished the most and revived cultures inherently unique to their people. Very slowly, due to the lowered population, cities were rebuilt outwards from the centre. However this is a very arduous process, and so the Rebuild is still well underway.
